Periodic Preventive Battery Maintenance programs range in scope from minimal to extreme. Of course, the more detailed a programs method of procedure, the more the cost. This thinking can be a monumental mistake. Most periodic programs should include some if not all of the industry suggested procedures outlined in the IEEE documents and the specific, manufacturers, detailed operations manuals.

Many preventive maintenance programs differ due to type of battery and application of connected equipment.

Sealed Battery (VRLA) Maintenance Services

ATS provides the most up to date testing techniques for Valve Regulated Lead Acid Battery Systems. Following IEEE-1188, ATS performs voltage, ac ripple and internal ohmic measurements and then trends them over the life of the maintenance program.
